A second rally was held in Vancouver to support the Black Lives Matter movement and protest George Floyd’s death. On Friday June 5, 2020 a crowd estimated between 5000-10000 people came to Jack Poole Plaza to hear speeches by the black community. There was no violence.

Vancouverites gathered at the Vancouver Art Gallery in downtown Vancouver on Sunday May 31, 2020 at 5pm to show solidarity with the black community and to protest George Floyd’s death. The gathering was peaceful with no violence or arrests. There were even times of silence when people were waiting for the next speaker.
